Lectors

Those who serve in this ministry are called to proclaim the Word of the Lord.  Lectors need to accomplish this in a manner that enables the faithful to hear and understand the message of God’s covenant of love as it is revealed to us each time the sacred book is opened.  Lectors are scheduled for one or two Masses each month.  The diocese provides training.

Teens who are interested in becoming lectors should contact the office regarding training sessions.
